My Best Fishing Trip 7-18-02 My Dad, our neighbor Sean, and I went fishing in my Dad’s canoe. We had been fishing for about a half an hour. Then we decided to head over to the lily pads. Sean and I both cast our lines to the lily pads, using large black power worms. Sean got a BIG bite and was trying to bring it in with a 12-lb. test line. While he was doing that I was reeling in what I thought were weeds. Then Sean’s line broke. I reeled my "weeds" to the side of the canoe and I saw a Large Mouth Bass! It was a surprise to me, I wasn’t expecting to see a fish. When we got home I fillet it and my Mom and Sean ate it for supper.
