Club Gets A New Look With A New Sign

Somewhere around the October or November meeting, it was suggested that the club replace the old sign that has hung at the end of Bacon Road for many years. It was thought that the sign should be more visible to passing traffic and utilize the image of the Native American Chief that has become the club's logo. Duane Pray took on the project and collected several ideas for what the new sign should look like. It was decided that the sign would have a design similar to the home page of this website, but it was thought that a colorized Native American Chief would be more eye appealing. Duane then presented the drafts to Al Lizak who painted the new sign and added a few artistic touches of his own. The new sign now hangs at the end of Bacon Road.
