Guidelines for writing club Job Listings


Description:

Describe the duties of the position as completely as possible without being too wordy. Try to give the prospective volunteer information on what they would be doing , what can they expect, what they would be responsible for, and who would supervise the position.

Requirements:

List any requirements or qualifications that the position would require. For example, would they have to be a club member, or are there any certifications and/or qualifications they should have. If a certain qualification is not required, but would be nice to have, list it as being "a plus".

Time Requirement:

Try to give the volunteer an idea of how much time this position will require from them as accurately as possible. List time requirements as Minimal (once or twice a year), Moderate (more than twice a year, but less than once a month), High (once or twice a month), or Very High (weekly or on call anytime) along with an explanation of how often they will be required to perform this position. Remember to include in this estimate any time the volunteer will need to prepare for the event.
